CITRIS Innovation Fellowship and AIC Awards – $$$CITRIS and the Academic Innovation Catalyst are launching this new program aimed at “transforming UC research into viable commercial solutions to society’s most pressing challenges.” Three fellowships, two years, $200K each. Must translate lab research into product, platform or service. 

NSF $$: University-Community Network Call – Interested?National Science Foundation has issued a call for proposals to develop a Research Coordination Network for a University-Community Climate Action Network. ClimateWorks Foundation: $50M for Climate ResilienceA group convened by ClimateWorks Foundation is catalyzing an initiative for philanthropy to invest an initial commitment of $50 million in climate adaptation and resilience efforts in regions most vulnerable to climate change impacts, including extreme heat. All info here.
